At Towne Lake Academy, our story is a testament to the power of family and community. Founded on a deep commitment to nurturing and excellence, our academy stands as a unique beacon in the town of Woodstock, GA, thanks to its dedicated family ownership.
Our journey began over 20 years ago when Sammie and Latresse Bray first entrusted Towne Lake Academy with their oldest daughter, Simmie. The exceptional care and education she received led them to enroll their other three daughters as well. Their positive experience and growing trust in our academy laid the foundation for what was to come.
In October 2015, the Brays took a bold step by purchasing Towne Lake Academy’s two campuses. This decision was driven by their dream of not only continuing but also enhancing the legacy of excellence they had come to cherish. With Latresse’s 25 years of expertise in training and management and Sammie’s extensive background in project management and finance, they brought both passion and professionalism to their new roles.
As a family-owned institution, Towne Lake Academy prides itself on its personal touch and community focus. The Brays have worked diligently to maintain the academy’s core values while introducing thoughtful improvements.
Latresse and Sammie, along with their daughters, have been hands-on in their approach, reflecting their commitment to creating a warm and supportive environment. Their daughters, who once walked the halls as students, now contribute to the academy’s vibrant atmosphere, bridging past and present.
Our family ownership allows us to provide a unique and personal experience that distinguishes Towne Lake Academy from other institutions. We are deeply rooted in the Woodstock community and are committed to fostering strong, lasting relationships with our families. The stability and dedication of our staff, many of whom have been with us for years, further underscore the trust and quality that define our academy.
We invite you to be part of our family. Visit us and experience firsthand the warmth and care that make Towne Lake Academy a special place. Join us in continuing a legacy of excellence and community spirit that has been the cornerstone of our story.
